Assessment of Knowledge regarding Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) among Nursing Students

Introduction:PCOS is most common non-communicable disease in females after hypertension and diabetes mellitus India. Females with PCOS have a higher risk of developing health complications like infertility, HTN, abortion, insulin resistance etc. Lack knowledge poor lifestyle choices are considered to be the major factor leading this syndrome. Nurses unique position create awareness regarding Informed management weight loss ,stress key factors disease. Objectives:The objective study was assess (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) among Nursing Students. Methodology: The present has used Quantitative Research Approach Descriptive Design. A total 60 nursing students who were studying DGNM 3rd year B.Sc. Hons 4th participated study. Data gathered using demographic sheet structured questionnaire which administered through online mode formal permission. statistics such as frequency, percentage, means median standard deviation describe profile level PCOS. Result:The found that majority Students (60%) average knowledge, 38.33% Good 1.66% Polycystic Syndrome. Conclusion:The finding indicates had Syndrome (PCOS).
